Particle Size Distribution of the Impact Crusher

The particle size distribution of the products is one of the important problems which should be considered by the enterprises. The impact crusher is favored by the majority of users due to its good grain shape. However, the crushing rate is lower than that of the cone crusher. Most of the impact breakers are used in the return circuit in the three-stage crushing or quaternary crushing. The materials content with small fraction are small. The particle size distribution is uneven. Let’s take the grain-size distribution of some production line, the distribution of the material content is not even, which can not meet the requirements of production efficiency.
The product particle size distribution is related to the self characteristics of the crusher, the operating parameters and material properties. In addition, it is constrained by the production cost and the wear factors. Therefore, through the analysis of the wear rate and the particle size disturition of the products, we can deeply understand the wear mechanism of the wear parts and the correlations of the particle size of the products, which can effectively reduce the attrition and optimize the particle size distribution of the products.
The working process of the impact crusher is a flowing process of lots of materials. Therefore, the main working parts of the rotor and the bearing housing bracket to support the rotor will withstand tremendous impact load. When the feeding is uneven or there is iron block, it is easy to cause vibration. Seriously, the spindle will be ruptured. In the actual production, when the equipment vibration is up to a certain limit, we can cut off the power of the electromotor by setting a limit of the vibrating switch to achieve the protective effect. However, it is only a passive control. Through the simulation and the analysis the crushing process, we can deeply understand the wear rules so that we can effectively and actively predict the fault and control the fault. In addition, the fault analysis and knowledge accumulation can help us to rapidly and accurately find the failure cause and fault position.
In fact, the too high temperature of the bearing, abnormalization of the ampere meter and too large current are all closely related to the working parameters, amount of the accumulated materials and the characteristics of the accumulated materials of the rotor. As a result, we should find the rules and grasp the essence through a large number of experiments and simulation.
