Spain's unemployment decreases by 0.28 pct in Q3

The number of people out of work in Spain decreased by 72,800 people in the third quarter of 2013 to a total of quantum resonance magnetic analyzer5,904,700 people, according to data released on Thursday by the Spanish National Institute of Statistics (INE).According to the Inquest into the Active Population (EPA), the unemployment rate fell by 0.28 percent from 26.26 percent in the second quarter to 25.98 percent in the third one, the biggest fall since 2005.The INE reported that employment increased by 39,500 people to 16,823,200 people, especially thanks to job creation in the private sector (52,000) as opposed to the loss of 12,600 jobs of the public sector.Wholesale Quantum Resonance Magnetic Analyzer QMA201The public sector lost 161,100 jobs over the last 12 months, while the private sector lost 336,000, said the INE.Meanwhile, active population fell by 33,300 people to a total of 22,728,000, said the INE.Young people continued to be one of the most affected by unemployment with 943,100 people between 16 and 24 years-old out of work.Unemployment increased by 9,800 people between July and September in this sector of the population to an unemployment rate of 54.38 percent (1,734,300 people). 

Meanwhile, a total of 4,100 men found a job in the third quarter compared to 68,700 women, which meant an unemployment rate of 25.5 percent for men and of 26.55 percent for women.Concerning sectors, unemployment decreased in three sectors especially that of services which shows the impact of the tourist peak season in unemployment.Unemployment decreased by 117,Wholesale Quantum Resonance Magnetic Analyzer QMA101500 people in the services sector,Antique bath fixtures while falling by 28,600 people and by 28,400 people in the construction and industry sectors respectively.Unemployment decreased in 10 regions of Spain, especially in Catalonia and the Balearic Islands, where it fell by 32,500 and 25,100 respectively; while increased in seven regions, especially the Canary thermos bottleIslands and Madrid, where it increased by 22,000 and 10,900 respectively.The fall in unemployment is published only 24 hours after the Bank of Spain announced on Wednesday, Spain's economy had grown by 0.1 percent in the third quarter, leaving recession behind.However, despite the growth and decrease in unemployment in the third quarter, the number of people out of work in the country increased by 126,700 people (2.2 percent) over the last year.
