When selecting these, you would want to look out for pieces that are well made, flatter your shape by offering a great fit and leave you feeling immaculate. You will need to go through your wardrobe and select at least 10 of your best basic pieces. Your basics are classic pieces like a well cut pant, crisp white shirt, tailored skirts, basic tees which can be worn with your best statement pieces. Keep in mind cut, proportion and colour palette when selecting these items. Once you have selected your 10 best basic pieces, set them aside. 

Step 3 is time to accessorise.
